Immanuel (God With Us)
~Part One: When At Last I Came To Bethel~
God is with us -what does it mean?
(Genisis 28:16-22)
1.) He is with us Perpetually (Vs. 16,17).
"Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it."
He shows up in the most unexpected ways.
2.) He is with us Powerfully (Vs.18,19).
"He tooK the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar."
His presence changes the ordinary into the sacred.
3.) He is with us Progressively (Vs.20-22).
"Of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."
Awareness of His presence produces an entirely new way of life.
