Immanuel (God With Us)

~Where's Waldo?/Where's God-o?~

 

God will be found by those who know how to find Him.

God is most effectively found when (I Kings 19:1-13)

1.) We maintain a state of physical, mental and emotional Health   (Vs. 1-9a).

"Elijah was afraid and ran for his life."

It is hard to be in touch with a spiritual presence when you are in a state of physical exhaustion.

2.) We begin to Look   at our lives, our world and our circumstances as He does (Vs.9b,10).

"What are you doing here Elijah?"

It is hard to see God's ways and His will when your view is distorted by your troubled emotions.

3.) We wait confidently for His mysterious and likely Unexpected   arrival (Vs.11-13).

"The Lord is about to pass by."
